The Birthdays

In the past two months there have been three birthdays in the Gonzales family. First was Jennas and she took her friends to see Coraline. Upon their return the rest of the Gonzales family had to hear it from four squealing pre-teen girls about how scary it was. In the end one of Jennas friends went home because she was "sick". Next was Gary's birthday we went out to a nice dinner and had ice cream cake at home while he opened his present. On Maya's birthday she had her class come over for a Friday the thirteenth party. It was all fun and games until her mother decided to pull a practical joke on her. Earlier that day they came up with a joke to have everyone pick from a hat an animal. They would put a blindfold on and start to make that noise and try to find the other person making the same animal noise. Maya and her mom decided that they would only blindfold the goofball of her class and make it a joke,but her mom ended up saying it was to cruel. So it was time for the game to start and everyone was asking someone to help them put there blindfold on. Since she was the birthday girl, Maya's blindfold went on first. Little did she know no one else was doing the same. Her mom turned the lights off and shouted go. Everyone made a circle around Maya and started making animal noises. Maya was going around in circles yelling "CHIRRRRPP!! CHIRRPP!!" She took of her blindfold and saw thirty six smiling faces staring at her. Apparently the joke was to cruel to pull on the goofball but not enough to pull on Maya!


*FUN FACT!!* IN FIVE YEARS GARY WILL TURN 50 JENNA WILL TURN 16 MAYA WILL TURN 18 AND ANTONIO WILL TURN 21!! BRENDA HAD DECIDED THAT THEY ARE ALL GOING ON A FAMILY CRUZ.

Sorry to all of those who read this blog, i haven't been doing such a great job at posting new events! Ok, so when i was away from the computer this is what I and the rest gonzales family has been up to. Brenda finished working on the Holy Name of Mary Parish anual dinner dance(the theme was valentines.) Antonio made the varsity baseball team.(the only sophmore to do that may i add!!!) Maya started basketball and softball. Her city basketball team took first place in the league and softball is still going on. maya was also picked to be on the all-star basketball team for the city. That team won there first two tournaments and is playing for the state championships on the 28th of March.(That same day she has a softball game and is going to take the P-SATs at UCI, her mom is going to go crazy!) Maya is also on her schools softball team. Jenna also started basketball and softball. Jenna's basketball team was also first place in their league. And Gary is working very hard at his job.
